1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how SatisApps LLC ("SatisApps", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information in connection with the GenerGreator field-service management platform and related websites, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By registering for, accessing, or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Controller vs. processor. For account and administrator information, and for our own operation of the Service, SatisApps acts as a data controller. For information that a customer company uploads about its own clients and equipment (including customer names, addresses, signatures, and photos), the company is the controller and SatisApps acts as a processor acting on that company's instructions. Each company is responsible for having a lawful basis and any required consents to collect and process its clients' data through the Service.
2. Information We Collect
To provide the Service, we collect the following categories of information:
- Company & administrator account information: company name, administrator name, work email, and securely hashed credentials.
- Technician accounts: names, email addresses, and passwords or access credentials for technicians added to a workspace.
- Inspection & service data: checklists, equipment details, photographs, customer names and contact details, on-screen customer signatures, service logs, notes, and generated reports.
- Integration credentials: authentication tokens and configuration required to connect third-party software such as QuickBooks Online.
- Billing information: subscription tier, billing status, and identifiers returned by our payment processor. Full card numbers are handled directly by the payment processor and are not stored on our systems.
- Usage & technical data: IP address, device and browser type, log files, timestamps, and diagnostic information collected automatically to operate and secure the Service.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage company accounts, administrator workspaces, and technician logins.
- Generate, store, and deliver AI-assisted inspection reports for your customers.
- Synchronize approved billing and service data with integrations you explicitly enable, such as QuickBooks.
- Process subscriptions, trials, and payments.
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service, including debugging and analytics.
- Communicate with you about your account, security, updates, and support requests.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
4. AI Processing of Inspection Data
To generate customer-facing service reports, checklist data and technician notes for a completed job are sent to our third-party artificial-intelligence provider (currently Anthropic) for processing. This data is used to produce a draft report that is returned to your workspace for review. We do not use your inspection data to train third-party foundation models. AI-generated reports are drafts and may contain inaccuracies; you are responsible for reviewing and correcting them before relying on or sending them to a customer (see our Terms of Use).
5. Service Providers & Sub-processors
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or business information. We share data only with vendors that help us operate the Service, each bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations. Our current sub-processors include:
- Supabase — database, file storage, and authentication.
- Vercel — application hosting and delivery.
- Anthropic — AI generation of service reports.
- Resend — transactional and customer email delivery.
- Dodo Payments — subscription billing and payment processing.
- Intuit / QuickBooks Online — accounting synchronization, only when enabled by you.
We may also disclose information where required by law, subpoena, or regulation; to protect the rights, property, or safety of SatisApps, our users, or the public; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
6. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Following account closure, we will delete or anonymize company and inspection data within a commercially reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as backups, fraud prevention, and record-keeping.
7. Security of Your Data
We implement administrative, physical, and technical safeguards designed to protect your information, including database-level access controls that isolate each company's data, encryption in transit, and restricted access to production systems. No method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting your information, we will notify affected companies as required by applicable law.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or request deletion of personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Company administrators can view, modify, or delete account, technician, and inspection data within the Service, or by contacting us. Where a company acts as the controller of its clients' data, requests from those individuals should be directed to the relevant company; we will assist that company in responding as its processor. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
9. International Data Transfers
The Service is operated in the United States, and our sub-processors may process data in the United States and other countries. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions that may have different data-protection laws than your own.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for use by businesses and is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
